What is a Walt Disney World Cruise exactly? Well it is simply a vacation on the water filled with the Disney Magic. There are so many an option to choose from it is totally mind boggling. But one thing is for sure, whether you are a kid at heart or you have kids this cruise will truly be a memorable one.
These cruises all start from a 3 day cruise and up to a 7 day cruise. There are obviously special packages that where the days tend to be longer, up to 15 days these cruises are not limited to the Gulf of Mexico or Bahamas only. They have them in Europe and Mediterranean as well your options are just about limitless.
Port Canaveral is the departure point of the Disney Cruises. So you will need to get there, there are several options for you. Firstly the expensive option is going by air option, you will fly to Orlando International Airport and a bus will take you to Port Canaveral. By doing this you will have to pay extra of course. Bonus thing is that your luggage will be on the ship before you arrive so no need to stress about that one. You could also hire a car and drive to Cape Canaveral yourself from Orlando International Airport. If you are from the USA you could just drive to Cape Canaveral yourself and park your car there and collect it when you return.
So what is there to do onboard? Glad you asked because it is a serious list of activities, for both young and old. You will never be board onboard a Disney cruise ever
*Night Clubs for the adults
*Vista Spa
*Kids Clubs e.g. Flounders Reef to Teen Activities
*Studio Sea
*Disney Cruise Line Stage Shows
*Onboard Shopping
*Disney Cruise Line Onboard Movies
*Disney Cruise Recreational Activities
*Internet Access
*Disney Cruise Line Personal Navigators.
What will you need to wear when dinning on the Disney Cruise?
Well jeans are allowed but no swimwear or tank tops allowed. Usually it is very “Cruise Casual” policy for the rest of the time.
All forms will be filled online and if required you will fill in forms before boarding the ship. So there is no need to stress about that.
You can also choose a land/sea package which will include a 3 to 4 day stay at a Walt Disney World Resort and end with a 3 to 4 day cruise aboard the Disney Wonder. That to me sounds like the best deal of them all.
